Farm Heritage Day “Back to Our Roots – Celebrating 250 Years of Martin County Agriculture”

Join us as we celebrate agriculture and its important role in Martin County’s history. Food trucks, antique tractors, kid’s corner, ag simulators, and much more. Fun for the whole family!

***THIS EVENT TAKES PLACE DIRECTLY AFTER THE TOWN OF WILLIAMSTON CHRISTMAS PARADE***

As Martin County continues to celebrate 250 years of incorporation, the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service in Martin County is planning an event to highlight agriculture. “Back to Our Roots – Celebrating 250 Years of Martin County Agriculture,” will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 10am – 2pm. Students are invited to create visual displays focusing on any sector of agriculture in our county. Displays can be educational posters, tri-fold displays, sculptures, paintings, or drawings. Prizes will be awarded for winning entries. The top 20 entries will be exhibited at this event . Entries can be delivered to the Martin County Extension Office at 104 Kehukee Park Road, Williamston or arrangements can be made for an Extension staff member to pick up entries from the schools.
